An amazing duo

I have several other cast iron pieces, not one of them comes close to the quality and function of these two. Absolutely ingenious to make the lid a griddle. Love this set, seasoned as per the directions and it is already my go to set when cooking. The smooth interior makes for a virtually non stick surface with continued use.

Cast iron 10 inch ...

Fabulous stuff. Delighted it's in my home. I love that the lid is a griddle. I use it all the time. It is better than any non stick we've ever owned.

RECIPIENTS VERY HAPPY

All my purchases have been gifts to others. So, I cannot personally vouch for the products. The comments I received back have had nothing but good things to say about your products.

I would like to suggest that you make things easier for Canadian customers. As it is, we have to pay taxes and duties upon delivery. Every other American supplier I deal with ships their products FOB with all duties and taxes included. In fact, I have only ordered one item for delivery in Canada and it was a real problem! Not to mention the fact that the recipient had to pay the duties and taxes, on my gift to them, at time of delivery. RATHER EMBARRASSING!

It would also be nice if one could send a note with any gifts. I haven't been able to find this option on your website.

Other than the two points above, my experiences dealing with SMITHEY Ironware have been excellent.
